HGV and HGV-W Range by Giconmes – High-capacity steam and hot water boilers (up to 10 MW in steam and 30 MW in hot water). Complete systems including feed tank, blowdown systems, electrical cabinet, and control panel, all mounted on a SKID. HGV Range – Steam Boilers Electric energy conversion to heat is increasingly common, especially with the rise of renewable energy installations. Surplus electricity at low cost can be converted into thermal energy using 'PowertoHeat' systems. HGV boilers are specially manufactured for heat transfer and can produce up to 10,000 kg/hour of steam at 16 bar. Plug and play: mounted on SKIDS for easy on-site installation. Electric operation does not require gas/diesel supply or chimney system. Up to 10 MW and 15 bar. Low and medium voltage. Control panel with system visualization, multiple interfaces with existing Building Management Systems (BMS). Design and manufacture according to PED 2014/68/EU or ASME Sect. VIII Div. 1. Included elements in a high-capacity clean steam system: Clean steam generator: High-quality AISI 316 stainless steel clean steam boiler. Blowdown system: Cleans the bottom of the boiler where sediments accumulate. Level control: By water conductivity. If the value is too high, the valve opens until the measured value drops below the set point. Pressure control: Adjusted mechanically (mechanical pressure control valve) or electrically (pressure transmitter and electric actuator valve). Steam supply: Clean steam outlet from the generator. 500-liter fermenter: Accumulates boiler feed water and collects condensate. Includes water preheating system. System to drain excess water in the tank. Heating flange for electric resistances. Cooling system. Level control: Water level control system with protection against low and high water. Water preheating: Feed water must be preheated by steam injection to protect the boiler from large temperature differences and thermal stresses. Drainage: For emptying the tank. Water supply connection: To feed water pumps and boilers. Condensate return: Collects condensate from various elements, e.g., steam pipe drainage points or heat exchangers. Blowdown cooler: Cools hot water from blowdowns. Water sample cooler: For daily analysis of boiler water. Feed water pump unit: Vertical multistage centrifugal feed water pump designed according to maximum steam pressure and boiler flow capacity. Main control panel: Independent regulation of steam generation and control of safety devices.
