The InteliSENS® ST-AC series mains frequency spark testers from Proton Products comply with international standards stipulated for cable insulation testing: UL1581, UL2556, and EC62230. These AC mains frequency spark testers are designed for in-line cable testing to detect insulation faults such as pinholes and bare patches. They support cables up to 130 mm in diameter and provide a user-adjustable EHT test voltage up to 25 kV AC (rms). Typical applications include insulation testing of electrical and automotive cables. This unit offers a wide selection of integrated and optional industry-standard communication interfaces for connection to production controllers.
