Présentation
The Crest WSL is a high-precision slitter rewinder and optional inline laminator engineered for tension-sensitive conversion of specialty foams, films and laminates. It integrates pneumatic circular slitting, loop-controlled center winding and an advanced dual-roller lamination nip to deliver deformation-free winding, clean edges and homogeneous, bubble-free laminates.

Processus / Workflow
PASS 1: Foam Activation & Adhesive Coating
The raw specialty foam is unwound and passed through the Corona Treatment Unit to microscopically activate the surface, then a high-tack adhesive layer is laminated under precise nip pressure to ensure a strong bond.

PASS 2: Plastic Backing Application
The laminated adhesive foam from Pass 1 is fed back in; the machine applies the plastic backing film (Corona off) and performs the final precision pneumatic slitting to customer widths.
