The Crest R2R Laminator Slitter is a roll-to-roll converting platform that integrates lamination, heavy-duty shear-cut trimming and precision tension-controlled rewinding in a single continuous workflow. Originally engineered for printed PET on self-adhesive PE foam and thin PVC, it is configurable for a broad range of printed roll materials and converting requirements.

Fonctions principales

• Laminate — Apply protective films and functional layers in one workflow. Handles self-adhesive PE foam, thin PVC backing and protective laminate over UV-cured, latex, solvent and eco-solvent printed media. Adjustable, heatable laminating rollers accommodate a wide range of substrates and adhesive systems.
• Trim — Heavy-duty pneumatic shear-cut trimming capable of cleanly cutting thick PVC and other tough substrates without cracking or deforming the material. Delivers precise, consistent finished width directly off the line.
• Rewind — Automated web tension regulation via a closed feedback loop from unwind through lamination, trimming and rewind. Wide tension range with high torque on the unwind for rigid substrates and delicate, controlled handling at the rewind to protect print and laminate quality.
