Key Features (detail)The A/B line switch box (Model No.: KNPLS-16) is an analogue phone line switch box. It monitors the status of lines from PABX-A (main) and PABX-B (hot standby backup). Normally PABX-A handles normal communication while PABX-B is reserved for backup. When the KNPLS-16 detects a failure on the PABX-A line, it switches telephone service to PABX-B to avoid service interruption. The unit supports dual power inputs and dual network connections and will monitor the line to the end analogue telephone; if a connection failure occurs the unit reports to the PABX and operator console GUI will be notified.
