FeaturesKNTECH Telephone Management System is designed for control offices to monitor Emergency Call Points in real time to ensure all phone stations are in good working status. The system enables the control office to know immediately if one telephone is broken and to dispatch maintenance personnel. TSS-1000 is a Windows software package intended to run on a PC with Microsoft Windows. The solution consists of one Windows software package plus the Emergency Call Point KNSP-19. All Emergency Call Point devices have monitoring and self-diagnostic functionality, including automatic self-test of microphone and loudspeaker with configurable schedules for automatic self-tests.
At least every 24 hours, all Emergency Call Points send their health/fault status to the TSS-1000 control room for display. This data is also available to relevant monitoring subscribers for maintenance purposes. Details on symbols, icons and color codes to identify monitored object status are designed for easy operation. The system is highly reliable and simple to install and operate; it runs by executing the TSS-1000 software on a computer. Phone calls are given higher priority while a self-checking task is performed.
Remote testing and programmable diagnosticsThe remote testing and programmable diagnostics include self-monitoring and automatic diagnosis. The telephone will report to the TSS-1000 in real time when the following events occur:
- a. Keypad or emergency call button gets stuck.
- b. Handset microphone or receiver broken, or handset cord broken.
- c. Ring indicator LED broken.
- d. Buzzer broken.
- e. Telephone box has been opened.
SystemTSS-1000 operates as centralized monitoring software that collects health/fault status from Emergency Call Points, displays statuses for control-room operators and provides remote configuration and monitoring for maintenance activities.
ApplicationIntended application: centralized monitoring and management of Emergency Call Points (KNSP-19) in environments requiring robust, vandal-resistant emergency telephony with automatic self-diagnostic capability. Typical deployments include highways/roadside emergency call systems, tunnels, railways, stations and other public safety installations.
